Travel to Manchester Tennessee with Janice Lynn

I’m so blessed in that I love my hometown. I live in Manchester, Tennessee.

I consider it a small town, but it’s certainly grown a lot over my lifetime. Manchester is located in Middle Tennessee. We’re an hour south of Nashville and an hour north of Chattanooga. We have a gorgeous town square and court house (fountain is currently covered for winter).

When I’m writing my Wrapped Up in Christmas books for Hallmark, I definitely see my hometown’s square. We even have a gazebo just off the square, although, it’s not nearly as large as the one in Wrapped Up in Christmas Joy. We have several murals around town for anyone wanting to take pics and there’s lots to do.

We have a gorgeous greenway for walking and Old Stone Fort, which is an old Indian fort that has walking trails along the river and several waterfalls. There's several rivers nearby for kayaking and water fun.

For music lovers, we have a music festival called Bonnaroo. It takes place on a 100+ acre farm each year. My favorite artist to see has been Paul McCartney. I can honestly say that as a child I never would have believed that one of the Beatles would be in my hometown. We're less than 30 minutes to the mountains, have multiple lakes that are less than a 30 minute drive, and waterfalls. We have lots of gorgeous ones in the area.

When I'm writing, my hometown definitely seeps into my stories. In Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope, Morgan's cousin Sophie owns a quilt shop. Can't you just see her in a gorgeous shop similar to one of these, only with quilts and sewing supplies?

But the best part about Manchester? It's home.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope

He’s willing to risk his life to save others.
Is she willing to risk her heart on him?

Morgan’s late husband was a daredevil…and now she’s a widowed single mom. All she wants now is to set up a stable life for herself and her son in the small town of Pine Hill, Kentucky.

Andrew’s a firefighter who thrives on the rush of saving others. His secret dream is to become a smokejumper and fight raging wildfires across the country. But it’ll mean leaving his hometown and the people who rely on him.
Morgan and Andrew are drawn together as they both volunteer to make quilts for veterans at the local quilt shop. Morgan’s son looks up to Andrew, and Morgan can’t help but notice how good Andrew is with him. Meanwhile, Andrew’s torn between his ambition and his growing attraction to Morgan. They both have choices to make about their future…and about each other.
